At Pang Projektutveckling, we lead construction projects from idea to finished result. We are an engineering firm with our heart in the construction sector, founded with the vision of driving the construction industry forward and having fun along the way.

We work for both the private and public sectors and take on assignments within project management, construction management, design management, contract inspection, and PBL control responsibility. We also have a building physics department where we offer advice as moisture experts, conduct damage investigations, and deliver services within air tightness checks and material measurements.

What you do

You lead construction projects on behalf of our clients. This means that you plan, organize, and follow up on project work, keep track of time, economy, and quality, and ensure that everyone from the steering group to subcontractors works towards the same goal. You communicate, delegate, manage risks, and make decisions together with the client.

The assignments can look a bit different. Sometimes you come in early and conduct feasibility studies, prepare tender documents, and lead the design process. Sometimes you step in when the contractor has already been procured and work as a construction manager until the final inspection. You don't need to know everything from day one, but we appreciate that you are curious and eager to take on new challenges.

But the most important thing in the role is the ability to build and maintain good relationships. Projects involve many people with different interests, and your ability to create trust and keep the group together is what determines whether a project truly succeeds.

Since we are not chemists, there are rarely ready-made solutions to pick off the shelf; you must enjoy mixing the ingredients yourself to create a working recipe.

Requirements

You must meet one of the following alternatives:

• Academic degree (Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Bachelor's degree, or higher) in construction or civil engineering, plus at least 5 years of experience in project management roles within building construction.

• Relevant vocational education, high school engineering degree, or KY/YH (minimum 2 years), plus at least 10 years of experience in project management roles within building construction.

In addition, you must have:

• Good understanding of time, budget, and quality control.

• Experience with contract law and contract management.

• Ability to lead projects with multiple actors and subcontractors.

• Experience in managing risks, changes, and business opportunities within the project.

Merits:

• Experience in the role of Control Responsible (KA) according to the Planning and Building Act (PBL).

• Experience as BAS-P/U (Safety Coordinator).

Who you are

You are communicative and solution-oriented. You enjoy leading meetings just as much as conducting rounds on the construction site, and you know how to handle a conflict of interest with both clarity and finesse. You like the leadership role, share what you know, and ensure that everyone in the project pulls in the same direction.
